Simple exercises in-between the work

Going at gym is important. But what if you're not a fan of the hard work at gym. You can still have a great shape just by making some simple exercises at home or somewhere, where it's possible.

at home:
laying on the floor, just use some blanket for more comfort.
raise legs and make simple bicycle movement or just switching legs. Make sure your belly muscles are training as much repetitions as you can, 40-60 or more.

pushups from the chair, stool, desk - 5-35... depends on the angle


make simple bows to the floor.  this way blood will flowing to the head more intensely

  • side by side in a sitting position
  • raising knees high
  • breathing exercises - slow and deep inhales and slow exhales during a minute (10 seconds for a cycle)


but most important is the moment, when you switching from the work to exercises.
it's very hard to start something physical, but it's needed to start simple exercises like raising hands upwards and down, for some time. and then later to add more complexity to the process.  and then it will be much easier to start
good exercises that will be improving your shape
and by frequent repetitions you will be able to avoid the gym, and if not build an athletic body, but will stay in good shape.

Why it so important to have exercises everyday I've covered in previous post. But if in short it trains your brain cells and keep them efficient, throughout the week, especially valuable while doing hard intellectual work.
10-20 minutes for exercises is not much, if we will take this time from something unnecessary like YouTube shorts or arguing about the politics with a neighbor.

What's important to overcome is the doubts about usefulness of exercises. Someone can avoid just because of laziness. Thinking that it's just a waste of time. As you remember from the lessons of physics:  Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it can only be transformed or transferred from one form to another. For instance, chemical energy is converted to kinetic energy and the same can be vice versa, kinetic force of exercises can burn fat and build new muscles. So, any force that you will apply will do the result. Even if it's a small result - it's better than just simply NOTHING.

When thinking about starting exercises even this can be an unpleasant signal to your brain and nerves. But when it became an everyday routine - you don't need to think about again. You just need to support it, spend these 20 minutes and easily forget. It's also a good opportunity to put another strong PLUS to the list of your successful daily activity.

It looks miserable to hope to become more stronger, healthier, which does nothing in reality, But the same are telling people, who eat tasty sweet cakes, and assuring that it won't affect your body much. It's indeed so, but if we will count everything, and add each 5 miserable percents here and there, we will find that it can be 40-60 percents difference at the end.

It's a system, life style, behavior, habits. How you'll call it is less important, the main trick - is that everything starts from small and then grows. That's why you have to see the opportunity in small, easy and pleasant exercises.
